The Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza is run by a voluntary committee that are experts in their roles. The event receives very little funding in fact it equates to around 10% of the running costs each year. The rest of the funds are raised by selling pitches and advertising for the event. Each year our team raises around £80,000 to stage Wales' largest annual free to attend family event. We attract approximately 150,000 visitors over the bank holiday weekend to the Queen of Welsh resorts, Llandudno!
In 2013 there was an independent survey conducted which found that the event brings over £4million to the local economy. Many visitors to the event return each year but also return to the resort throughout the year. It is certainly an event to be proud of!
